Every time you answer the question “what do you do?” it is an opportunity to share:
- Who you are
- How you are unique
- Why you do what you do ( your brand!)
Two Tips
1. Make your work Visible and Memorable. Try the Best/ Test (from Strategic Connections)
a. Best : Decide on one thing you want this person to remember
b. Give an example (show don’t tell) - saved the day - served a client/ partner - solved the problem
2. Help Others
a. Ask Better Questions
- What is your favorite project right now? - What are you excited about these days?
b. Listen with Curiosity
