What we mean by "Organization"
You don't have to be a formal, non-profit organization to be eligible to participate in CORE programs, including Match for Change (although having nonprofit status or a fiscal sponsor does make funding your project easier. We use the term "organization" as shorthand, to mean any group of people functioning together to effect some form of social change, advocacy or community building in the service of a just, peaceful, sustainable world.
This may include, for example:
For our current round, to apply to be matched with a consultant for a project to build capacity, organizations must also be headquartered in Dane County, Wisconsin, or in one of the eight surrounding counties (Columbia, Dodge, Green, Iowa, Jefferson, Lafayette, Rock, Sauk), or be willing to travel here for the Learning Conversation.

- Coalitions and collaborations
